Premarital Counseling: Premarital counseling is a form of therapy that helps engaged couples prepare
for marriage. In addition to addressing the individualized concerns of participating couples, sessions are
designed to initiate discussion of key topics, including communication, conflict resolution, finances, and
intimacy. The goal of premarital counseling is to provide couples with the skills and tools they need to
build a strong, healthy, and fulfilling marriage. Daniel Wendt is a certified facilitator for the
Prepare/Enrich premarital assessment program, typically utilizing it when applicable and feasible for
couples.
